After the short intermission in Kyoto to see the Gozan no Okuribi, I set out for the Hokuriku region for the remainder of my vacation. Shirakawagô is one of my favorite places in Japan and that is why it draws me back for the third time.

After touring through Kyushu I will head back to Tokyo for the last few days. I will not take the direct Shinkansen route from Kyoto back to Tokyo via Nagoya, but will make a detour to the Chubu region.

Irgendwie verfolgt mich das – bei der Anreise, auf dem Weg nach Takayama und auch jetzt wieder. Samstag Abend schaute ich nochmal ins Internet, bevor ich mich hinlegte. Durch die Zeitverschiebung würde ich einiges an Zeit gewinnen, dass heißt, mein Sonntag wird doppelt so lang wie gewöhnlich sein. Deswegen beschloss ich lange auf zu bleiben und in Ruhe auszuschlafen.

Seit ich in Kobe bin, behauptet der Wetterbericht auf meinem Handy stur, dass es übermorgen regnen würde. Seit drei Wochen. Mit der Zeit habe ich nicht mehr dran geglaubt, es schien immer die Sonne. In den letzten Tagen zogen aber mehr Wolken auf und heute morgen wurde ich mit Blitz und Donnerschlag geweckt.
