I have some exciting news to share with you today! I will attend a panel discussion at the Japanese themed convention Connichi representing my blog!

The Connichi convention is amongst the largest events dedicated to Japan and its modern culture in Europe. Last year 26’500 people attended the three-day event which traditionally is held in September in the Kongress Palais in Kassel. The event was the first of its kind I visited and since 2010 I attended the convention three times. This year it takes place from September 22 to 24.

This year, a new program point is introduced, dubbed the Connichi Couch, where discussions and talks around various topics will take place. The audience will not be limited to the attendees of the convention but will also be broadcasted live! You can read more about the schedule here.

The program I will appear in is a panel discussion of Japan bloggers. In the panel lead by fellow blogger Kumo from the Japan and cooking blog The hangry stories we will talk about various topics related to travelling and writing about it. The start time is Saturday, the 23rd of September at 18:00.

Even if you cannot attend the event, you can follow the panel online! I will update you with more details once they become available. Stay tuned!
